Anyone order a puppy? lawlz I haven't submitted anything in a while, and decided this one was sitting on my desktop long enough and needed to be finished. [I know I have some files somewhere I just can't find to be submitted...D:]
I saw "I Am Legend" and Sam was so cute as a puppy I wanted to draw a GSD puppy too. So I did. Then I was thinking about a butterfly on his nose, but that was too cliche so I drew some really lame packing peanuts. Oh and his name is Sam too but he's a him. I also find his nose and paws a problem. No matter how I tried to color them I still think they look funny. dammit. I used a lot of random gsd puppy pictures for referencing, and I wudn't remember them all, but if you google "german shepherd puppy" and choose the cutest of the lot, I probably used that. You have advanced critique encouraged on, so I'm gonna try and help you with the paws because you said you had a problem with them. I think it's because... the lines on the paws that divide the "fingers" (lol..) the way they are here, opposite like ( ) makes it look like the paws are facing forward when it might look better if they were facing to the side, with lines like ( ( instead.
